CELINA, Ohio, Nov. 22, 2022 — The Healthy Business Council of Ohio (HBCO) recently named Celina Insurance Group a 2022 Healthy Worksite Platinum Award Winner. Celina was one of 96 Ohio employers recognized for healthy workplace practices this year.

The Healthy Worksite Award distinguishes Ohio companies that demonstrate a commitment to employee wellness through comprehensive programs. Four levels of high achievement were awarded in 2022: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Celina was one of 14 Platinum Award Winners in the small employer category.

“We work hard to support health and well-being with resources that include an in-house fitness center, fitness classes, a wellness program that individuals can tailor to their goals and an employee assistance program that provides counseling services,” Christine Purdy, Celina’s Director of Human Resources, said. “We’re honored to accept this award in recognition of our efforts to foster a healthy workplace.”

The online award application is available to all Ohio-based worksites. Applicants are scored on the extent to which their wellness offerings facilitate employee health, enhance productivity and ensure a healthy work environment.
