CELINA, Ohio, Jan. 21, 2025 — Stephanie Timmerman, Farm Underwriter at Celina Insurance Group, recently earned the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation.
The International Risk Management Institute (IRMI) administers the specialized AFIS curriculum, which includes five insurance and risk management continuing education courses focused on the unique needs of agribusinesses and farms.
“At Celina, we want to be able to provide the right coverage options for each policyholder. The designation coursework offered an opportunity to expand my knowledge of the finer points of farm insurance to better serve our agency partners and insureds,” Timmerman said.
Timmerman has worked for Celina for six years. She also holds Associate in Personal Insurance (API) and Associate in Insurance (AINS) designations.
“Stephanie takes the time to build relationships with our independent agencies. Her collaborative spirit and dedication to staying on top of evolving industry trends deliver great results to the farmers who trust us to insure their hard-earned assets,” Clay Heitkamp, Farm Underwriting Manager, said.
