CELINA, Ohio, March 17, 2025 — Megan Swaney, Claims Representative at Celina Insurance Group, recently earned the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.
The AIC program is a specialized curriculum administered by The Institutes, an organization dedicated to providing accreditation and continuing education to insurance professionals. Swaney earned this recognition after completing courses on insurance claims and ethics and passing the required exams.
“As a claims representative, I interact a lot with our customers. To provide the best service, it’s important for me to have a solid understanding of claims and the legal processes associated with them. I can take what I learned from this designation and apply it with claimants,” Swaney said.
Swaney has been with Celina since 2016. She is a graduate of Wright State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership.
“Megan has a wealth of knowledge about the world of claims thanks to her years of experience, but the field is always changing. That’s why we’re happy to support employees as they pursue ongoing education,” Jenni Black, Claims Manager, said.
