CELINA, Ohio, July 19, 2023 — Celina Insurance Group recently promoted Eric Braun to Internal Auditor. Braun previously served as Celina’s Financial Systems Accountant.

In his new role, Braun will perform audits to evaluate the adequacy of Celina’s internal controls. He will also assess compliance with company policies, recommend process improvements for controls and work in conjunction with outside insurance department and auditing firm examiners.

“Eric is a credit to his profession,” Mike Kleinhenz, Celina’s Senior Vice President, CFO and Treasurer, said. “His integrity and experience have always been assets to Celina, and I’m confident he’ll continue to add value to our operations as he takes on the position of Internal Auditor.”

Braun graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree and earned a Certificate of Accounting Concentration from Columbus State Community College. He began his career at Celina in October 2018 after serving as a tax examiner for the Ohio Department of Taxation. Braun resides in Celina with his wife, Jessica, and their four children.
