CELINA, Ohio, June 12, 2023 — Celina Insurance Group has been named one of the 2023 Best Employers in Ohio. The Best Employers in Ohio program is coordinated by Best Companies Group in partnership with Crain’s Cleveland Business and Crain’s Content Studio-Cleveland.

“We have a saying here at Celina: respect each relationship, preserve every promise. That applies to employees, not just agents and policyholders. Everyone is respected, and everyone is promised the chance to have a rewarding career when they come to work with us,” Bill Montgomery, Celina Insurance Group President and CEO, said. “This award shows that we’re doing our part.”

The annual statewide survey and awards program is designed to recognize the best places of employment. This is Celina’s second consecutive year on the list.

“Celina is made up of exceptional people, and we do everything we can to ensure their needs are met and their hard work is rewarded,” Christine Purdy, Director of Human Resources and Facilities, said. “Whether it’s our company-sponsored events, wellness roundtables or the in-house fitness center, we’re always looking for unique ways to enhance Celina’s workplace.”

A two-part assessment process determined which companies made the cut for this year’s list that honored 60 top employers. Best Companies Group analyzed each participating company’s workplace policies, practices, systems and demographics. The team also conducted a company-wide survey with each organization to evaluate the employee experience.
