CELINA, Ohio, Sept. 29, 2026 — Casey Spencer, Farm Underwriter II at Celina Insurance Group, recently earned the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation.

The International Risk Management Institute (IRMI) administers the specialized AFIS curriculum, which includes five insurance and risk management courses focused on the unique needs of agribusinesses and farms.

“I chose to pursue this designation to further my education within the agricultural side of the insurance industry. The classes included a closer look at some farm risks and coverages that we don’t work with here at Celina, so I gained a broader understanding of the industry as a whole,” Spencer said.

Spencer attended The Ohio State University and Columbus State Community College. She has been with Celina for nearly five years, and she is also a Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA).
