CELINA, Ohio, June 23, 2026 — Cayden Cox, Claims Representative II at Celina Insurance Group, recently earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

The CPCU designation is a widely respected and distinguished credential in risk management and insurance. The Institutes, an organization dedicated to providing accreditation and professional development opportunities in the insurance field, administers the required exams.

“The CPCU coursework has given me a better understanding of how everything connects—underwriting, claims, risk management and coverage—so I can see the full impact of decisions, not just one piece of the process,” Cox said. “I enjoy the relationships I get to have with agents, customers, vendors and colleagues, and what I’ve learned will help me communicate more effectively with each of them.”

Cox has been with Celina for seven years. He graduated from Ball State University and also holds Associate in Claims (AIC) and Associate in Insurance (AINS) designations.

“When you have an insurance claim, you want someone you can count on to be on the other end of the phone,” Kevin Black, Claims Manager, said. “Cayden is that person for our policyholders, and the fact that he’s willing to learn new things shows his commitment to providing the best possible guidance in those situations.”
